Packaging expertise built inside Amazon.
Cogton isn't a generic sustainability consultancy. It's applied packaging engineering, from someone who did it at scale inside one of the world's most demanding logistics operations.

Santiago Erreguerena · Founder
Before founding Cogton, Santiago worked as a packaging engineer and program manager at Amazon Luxembourg, deploying sizing algorithms and outbound packaging solutions across fulfilment centres. There, optimising packaging wasn't a one-off project: it meant cutting cost and waste across millions of shipments, where every millimetre and every gram counted. His background combines packaging engineering with a finance (FP&A) grounding — which means every recommendation is measured by its real impact on the bottom line, not just in theory.
Cogton comes from applying that same method — data, scale, and pragmatism — to businesses that ship product and want to do it more efficiently and in line with the regulation.
How we're different
- Engineering, not just advice: recommendations are operational and implementable, not reports that gather dust.
- Cost and compliance together: packaging optimisation and PPWR compliance are designed at once, because they're usually solved by the same changes.
- Figures from your case: we work on your catalogue, order mix, and real costs — not generic estimates.
- Direct contact: you talk to the person doing the work, not a salesperson.
